Christmas Show - The Wild Swans
(DECEMBER 2019)
Performance by DGU AMOK and The Royal Theater Danish Ballet School in Odense
Description of the performance:
Christmas is fast approaching.
It is now that the December fun really kicks in.
In two weeks' time, an event has been planned that can bring out the fun and, not least, the fascination of talented young people. It has gradually become a tradition that the Royal Theater Ballet School Odense holds an enchanting performance in the heart of Odense every year in December.
Performing The Wild Swans In 2019, the students from the Royal Theater Ballet School Odense and Danse Grunduddannelsen DGU – professional dance school will interpret H.C. Andersen's fairy tale The wild swans.
The wild swans will be a dance performance that interprets H.C. Anderens famous adventure. The performance will be a medley of classical ballet and modern dance that explode together when beauty, curse and transformation clash. A little girl's brave fight for the right to remain silent and the fight to be able to speak to save her brothers. An obvious opportunity to feel the magical magic of Christmas before it all culminates in 24 days.
