BOLERO
Bolero is an expression of the persistence and tenacity that must apply in the social constructions we build and the paths we follow in life. On stage, you can see how individual expressions and gestures are strengthened and united in a collective, how what we as individuals and a group send out into the world is stretched and hits us again. The music is an important part of this choreography.

Inspired by a relationship, created by emotions. VEN ER is a romantic situation at a certain point in our lives. VEN ER is like the relationship between us, whether it is our friend, our lover or our best friend.

RITES
This choreography was originally made for Holstebro Dansekompagni in 2013.
Cultural and religious manifestations will always be present in various rituals around the world. They are celebrations of persons and mysteries, and they express religious beliefs in tribes, in societies and in communities.
The choreography is inspired by different cultures in Brazil, Brazilian origins and rituals. These rituals are very much present in daily life, in gestures and manifestations of moments, in the dialogue between people. They spring from a common belief in and awareness that there is someone or something in the beyond, something bigger than us.
